So many exciting things are going on for us here at Zombie Ranch. We’re getting ready to introduce a new character to the story, preparing for the new Pasadena Comic Convention, Long Beach Comic Con, and I (Dawn Wolf) will be showcasing artwork at Dragon Con. We’ll be at all these locations, except for Dragon Con because we don’t have the money to travel, so I’m mailing my artwork to them to display.
We’ll also be sporting some Professional Badges at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. I will admit that I was afraid that we wouldn’t get them because they wouldn’t consider us professional enough, but they do! Everyone knows that I am at fault for having a low ego for myself and something like this just helps boost it up a little. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get any sort of table or booth, but I’ll have art in the Art Show and we might have some Zombie Ranch flyers available on the freebie table (still awaiting approval for that, though).
As the incentive above reminds, if you like the comic be sure to vote for us on Top Web Comics, Comic Hovel, or any of the other listing sites you see on the left side of the website (towards the top). According to one of our polls most of you found us through sites like this, so the more prominent we are the better we can get the word out!

Thought it was strange that they used a knife rather than just shoot him in the chest but the knife in the forehead is a great visual.
Actually that’s supposed to be one of the tracker/failsafe bolts, though it might be hard to tell at a distance.
Using a knife was just a more precise way of doing the job than a bullet (“Leave him whole as you can…”).
