69 – Picture Perfect

You walk into a restaurant and there’s always a few things that an artist/designer like me notices. Restaurant colors  that set a certain mood or feel, table/wall décor, lighting, and what do they dress the staff in. They can give a professional , posh,  playful, or healthy feel. I live in Los Angeles, and I see them go into the land of themes/props for some places. One that I’ve gone to recently is called Lucifer’s Pizza that has a gothic dark lord feel. Many years ago I went to a coffee shop that had a Retro Sci-Fi feel to it. So why does a Zombie themed burger joint have to be in production at Des Moines, Iowa?! George Formaro is the one in charge of putting together Zombie Burger and his goal is to make the restaurant feel like a zombie attack just happened and will have some zombie themed dishes. So far George’s challenge is to create a themed environment that will still make people want to eat and will probably have less gore through out the restaurant. If you are in Iowa and near Des Moines, keep an eye out for Zombie Burger (E300 Building at 300 E. Grand Ave) and take some pictures for me. I really want to see what this guy comes up with. 1. Oddly enough, I have to wonder how many of this strips fans out there are shipping Rosa & Frank, Susannah & Rosa, Susannah & Frank, and any other combinations of characters you’d care to name.

Yeah… I spend way too much time on http://tvtropes.org/.

  2. To be honest yours is the first speculation I’ve heard even speculating about that. Which doesn’t mean no one’s thinking about it, just no one’s voicing it out loud. The day someone does, I suppose I’ll consider it as much of a milestone as the day someone shows up to one of our convention appearances in a Suzie cosplay 😀

There’s no such thing as spending too much time on tvtropes.org. TV Tropes is awesome. Ignore this entry.
