Thanks guys for being so patient. Coughing and trying to draw just really don’t go well together. I decided to go a bit more traditional with the coloring like I did with the original artwork that started this whole comic. Though I might go back and fully color it digitally when my head clears.

I really dig the pencil work for this but the finish product is beautiful. I really love what you did with the back drop, it all flows together masterfully.
My favorite part of it all has to be Clint’s contribution. I was just going to put a simple cloth on the bottom that was torn and tattered. But Clint said “What if it was a Texas flag” and then I knew why I married the guy. It just ads a certain unification on the bottom that it didn’t have in the original concept.
But I’m happy it met your approval.
