Then my imagination took a firm jump into the weird pool where the water is warm and started to think of communication jobs that would be terrible to employ a mime for. Talking to ghosts would suck if you were a mime! Mix it up with the Ghost Whisperer and you have yourself today’s Bits of Nothing.

My imagination is weird, but most of you guys know that already.

Disara said that most bars give a free drink to the birthday girl. Then in her usual drunken state, had the great idea that she would pretend to be this girl’s twin sister in order to get a free drink as well.

Then the discussion progressed to how Disara would paint a pair of pants and put them on her head to look more like a Twi’lek.

And in the end, I couldn’t help but draw what something like that would look like.

“Writing was taking the words you’ve vomited out and editing them.”

Then his writer friend joined in and the conversation went like this:

Friend: “It’s also about preparing what to vomit. Like you’re shooting for a specific color, so you really monitor what you’re eating. Then, of course, you play around in it for awhile to get the right patterns. I might be taking this too far.”

Husband: “Not at all, here, let me help you hold that metaphor down while you have your way with it…”

Well I’m a very visual person and this is the drawing that was where my imagination went.

Yes, this is Disara. But in the game I made her a Smuggler and not a Sith. Only reason why I did make her a Sith in this picture is because of how the Honor Guard looked when I was running a character through there. And I thought to myself, Disara would find a way to use their helmets to open giant bottles of beer.

I like to roleplay out my characters and usually play on an RP server. And if you’ve ever been on an RP server, you always run into the “dark and brooding” characters that stand in the many dark corners of the tavern. Disara was created to counter that and tends to be the complete opposite of the gloomy characters.

Lately I’ve been playing Lord of the Rings online and joined one of the RP servers. And the Prancing Pony is filled with the Gloomy characters standing in dark corners. So Disara does what Disara does best, drink and make a fool of herself.

In the past she has made insulting assumptions of elves and paid witness to several bar fights.

The last time I played, Disara met up with a minstrel who didn’t heed Disara’s warnings on how she was a terrible musician. The minstrel was determined to teach Disara how to play the lute. This quick doodle was inspired by this RP session.

So I ended up quickly doodling Disara Shepard and what she would say to Kai if she saw him.
