214 – A Moment With Suzie, Part 2

We've seen that particular bone orchard before, although going by what Suzie's saying there might not be many actual bones in it. Dawn is currently taking commissions for artwork! Check out her FAQ page on her website if you're interested for samples and pricing. Contribute to her struggling artist fund, and get a nice original piece for your collection!

  1. That looks like a lot more markers than would be acceptable losses in a dangerous work environment – yes, even zeds- just to maintain operational stability. Are those markers for everyone that died on the ranch or for every zed in the herd, wherever they came from?

  2. So, according to her, we shouldn’t speak of ZombieZeke as Zeke anymore but as G 5509. Discard the name because it’s not him anymore, it’s a walking corpse.
That’s a way to cut the ties from the past, but it must not always be easy to do.

  3. It’s Suzie’s no-nonsense, utterly sensible approach to EVERYTHING that makes her one of my favorite comic heroes. I love a character who’s JUST PLAIN NOT AN IDIOT <3

OK, I HAVE to have a Dawn Wolf Shana "Scarlett" O'Hara for my collection if it's possible….but I'm in NY! Could I pay for shipping? I didn't see that on the FAQ….

  4. @Mr. Cat – An early draft of this page actually answered some of those questions you have, but I cut it since there was already a big heap of talk going on. Just didn’t flow right. I’ll leave you to speculate for now!

@pikananou – I would say Frank/Zeke is a perfect example of that. Meanwhile we still do hear Suzie calling him Zeke, but I’d say that’s mostly because she doesn’t recall his bolt number without having the Tracker in front of her.

@Scarlett – Printing and shipping would be extra cost, but certainly doable. Go ahead and fill out your commission request and we’ll discuss 🙂
