242 – Work On, My Medicine

Today's comic title brought to you by Shakespeare's Othello, a quote from the villainous Iago as he gleefully watches his nasty insinuations about Desdemona take hold in Othello's mind:

"Work on, / My medicine, work! Thus credulous fools are caught, / And many worthy and chaste dames even thus, / All guiltless, meet reproach"

Shakespeare, as we've mentioned before, was surprisingly popular in the Old West. In the Weird New West, maybe not so much, but manipulating people into conflicts which might not otherwise exist is still an age-old game...

  1. Stupid reality tv execs. They would try to create more drama.

  2. please excuse me while I chuckle sarcastically at that :O

  3. I’m sorry. I can’t help myself. Those braids and the scarf drive me crazy. I’ve figured out it’s the resemblance to my first girlfriend.

  4. I can safely say that wasn’t intentional, norman. On the other hand, at least the mystery of your agitation is solved! 😀
