354 – Deathbed Confessional

As was brought up in the comments a few weeks ago, testimonials made while a person is dying can carry a special kind of weight, enough to count as evidence in a court of law. And while Darlene's words here are unlikely to end up being used in a trial, Suzie's now facing the unpleasant realization she might have been wrong. It's enough to make her want to break something.

  1. I don’t suppose Suzie has an iPhone or something on her? Does she expect the camera drones to help out? WHY DOES THIS COMIC ONLY COME OUT ONCE A WEEK???!!!???:(

  2. We haven’t seen manipulator arms on the camera bots, have we? Don’t make me review every comic from #1…..I have work to do.

Suzie better check her six. She is all alone out in hostile territory. Hate to have a Huc get the jump on her.

  3. @ConcordBob: Manipulator arms are unessesary. A build-in welder is enough.
Amarilla disected a drone looking for one. But such “dramaturgic helpers” are propably in the invisible drone.

  4. Maybe she’s going to do her the final favor ….

  5. No reason to break the window like that first, if she’s just going to shoot her. Honestly, I’m not sure WHAT she can do for her now, though, OTHER than put her out of her misery… It’s been established that there’s no cure or other help for those who’ve been bitten.

  6. [Deoxy], if you’re ever going to do ME the final favor, PLEASE break the window first. Details like that can be important.

  7. This conversation reminds me of the story that police departments in the U.S. switched to .357 Magnum rounds in the 20th Century mainly because of officer complaints that their .38 police special rounds were bouncing off of windshields. 😉

  8. not me zone, no siree ....

    Yeah.

Some people (cough, cough ….) load their shotguns buckshot/slug/buckshot/slug etc., in case the opponent is behind a car door with the window rolled down.

But that’s neither here nor there. I’m going to go cry about this girl now – you may return to the business at hand.

  9. .357 Magnum? HA! Time to check out a REAL hand-cannon! 🙂

    Check it: http://www.viciousprint.com/6commando/comic/una-mach-saber-75/

  10. Bullets do deflect through glass. I imagine ammo is hard to come by, so Suzie wants to be able to put Darlene away with one clean shot.
