Hey, at least it was a flamingo and not a Baneblade.

And Imurai, long time no comment! Glad to see you’re still hanging ’round the Ranch :D

I am sorry but I am dropping this strip from my reading list.
While it was very entertaining to read from the beginning, I find it very difficult to maintain any continuity with a once a week update — especially when Wednesday comes and the update is not posted.
There really is no excuse. Look at Aaron Neathery’s Endtown–full time work, medical problems, and still manages outstanding art and story five days a week.

    You’re an idiot.

Have you not considered that it’s not possible for him? Considering the time it takes to sketch, draw, edit, etc? This shouldn’t take priority over everything else.

He needs to work, which gets him a pay check, which pays the bills, which provides him with the power needed to be on the computer, which lets him draw.

If Aaron Neathery can do it, kudos to him. Just keep in mind that not everyone can be a Aaron Neathery. Dropping a story just because it’s not updated right at midnight is no excuse for ‘dropping’ a story. He may have other obligations that require his attention and will upload when he can.

    Anyway, just my two cents.

The ironic thing about the timing of this (which is actually a comment on the next page, not this one) is that it truly was a matter beyond our control. Our host server went down last night shortly before the update, despite us having everything set to go, and because we couldn’t even access the site the best we could do was post a warning/apology to our Facebook page and wait it out. Dawn stayed up until 3AM (PST), including calls to the hosting company, before we gave up and decided to just try for it in the morning. Looks like it resurfaced sometime after that.

So despite the labeled posting time, I doubt anyone actually saw it at midnight! If they did, then Hostmonster has some ‘splaining to do…

    Read a little more carefully.
The point is that once a week is just too infrequent to maintain story continuity when there is so little story advancement from strip to strip.

Also, I posted as a courtesy to the author. If it were me, I would want to know why I was losing a reader.
