164 – Downed And Dirty

No one thought Muriel was going away that easy, did they? Well, Frank had his hopes. Suzie, too, but she had a runaway herd to deal with first and foremost. Popcorn left his mark when he and Muriel tangled, but looks like it wasn't enough to keep the ol' mama bear down. And now she's returned the favor, just when Suzie thought safety from the incoming zed stampede was a single leap away. At the risk of being cliché: things don't look good for our hero.

    Nice touch with the smoke from the gun.
    Is Muriel bitten, or not? It takes a while to turn.
    And does she have the remote?

    Ugh. Really? The old trope of the villain (inexplicably) rises again for one last shot at the hero??

    Every week, we ride valiantly into the Valley of the Shadow of Trope, where one person’s inexplicables are another’s inevitables. I just hope we never fall as badly as Suzie just did… that looked painful!

    I wish for no fewer than 50 zombies to dogpile Muriel right now. Jumbo zombies in spiked armor. You don’t mess with Popcorn.

    At least she’s not pinned under the horse, although it is lighter I’m sure, but at least she stands a chance if she hurries.

    Oh my goodness.. I don’t think I’ve been left in such suspense for a while.. I want to know what happens! I hope Muriel gets a zed munching on her brains.

    Oh, I reckon neither Suzie nor Muriel are lacking in motive for that at this point. Hell, once she got fed up with matters Muriel already tried on not one but two occasions. Will third time be the charm?

    Ok, Muriel isn’t just dead, she’s beyond dead as soon as Suzie gets her mitts on her…

    They’ll have to define a new standard of ‘dead’ just for her!
