   My extensive study of the writen word, movies and more than a few comics tells me this can’t possible end well for him, even if he’s working with good intentions, which prior evidence tells us he isn’t.

   Page does make our mysterious producer seem more human rather than just a cold ‘puppeteer’ or psychotic ringmaster. There is a demand for this type of show within the walls of the city after all (considering what has been said about the new pops, it’s not surprising)

   Also, that family photo in the last panel, great teaser. Can’t wait to see where this leads us.

   A justified complaint about most “mastermind” characters in fiction is how there are things in the plot that they couldn’t possibly control the outcome of that have to fall their way in order for their grand plans to succeed. I liked the idea of one who actually recognizes he can’t bend everything to his whim. He’s not a god, just a talented man.

   So he has realistic beliefs about his bounds to manipulate the masses.

   In a way, this may make him even more dangerous.
