UPDATING OCCASIONALLY (FOR NOW)

231 – Unskilled Labor

Frank and Lacey had both been testing Suzie's patience recently, but Oscar's so far avoided getting on her bad side. We're not convinced Frank's the type who would try to get Oscar to bring up grievances in his stead, but Lacey? Well, she certainly seemed to be paying not-so-subtle attention to the conversation. Meanwhile, the worst thing for Suzie in this situation is that part of her knows very well that they aren't wrong. DESIGNERCON 2014! THIS WEEKEND! PASADENA CONVENTION CENTER! US! AT BOOTH 1022! (Lab Reject Studios) Show hours are 9am-6pm on Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sunday and admission is dirt cheap. $7 for each day at the door or $5 each online. Children 12 and under are free. A lot of vendors are turning out this year, and while the emphasis is on 3D art and merch over comics, it's hard to beat that entry price. It's our first time exhibiting, but going by our visit last year DCON is a clean, well-lit show in a nice area, perfect for family outings. We'll still have our comics and t-shirts and prints for sale, but we're also hoping to debut some Popcorn figurines for the show, as you can see from the "work in progress" photo below. 1. Oscar’s comment immediately made me think “Hey, potential free zeds!” I’m so mean 😛

  2. pikinanou, you weren’t the only one to think that…
What? Don’t look at me like that… It’d help recoup some of their losses

  3. @pikinanou: That would be considered murder, I think. So while it would solve one issue, it would propably create a bigger one.

  4. @Christopher: Just blame Lacey for it. 😀 aahh… sorry for my morbid sense of humor, today, it must be my female-curse’s fault 😛

  5. It seems to be the story of Suzie’s life, every solution to a problem creates two more…
