170 – The High Hand

Guess between the fall and that righteous uppercut, Suzie's a bit more banged up than she's been letting on. That pool ladder is all well and good for emergencies until you can't climb it. And first saving Chuck from his perilous plummet, now this? What are you up to, Rosa? Collecting favors? Returning them? Or after that ill-starred attempt to leave do you just feel like the eyes of the Patron Saint of Travelers are upon you, and it's time to be nice over naughty? Let's just hope Suzie ain't too proud to take the hand she's been dealt, and ask questions later.

    If there’s a way to profit from it, I suspect the Corporations That Be have thought of it and are exploiting it. Whether or not it actually works. I could just see some daft person being convinced that a regimen of Zombie Ejaculate Moisturiser would improve their looks, in addition to the zombie extract stuff that actually works.

    As for Rosa – she may be on the run from something, looking for adventure, or looking for new opportunities. She doesn’t really have any connection to anybody here, but I don’t see her as ill-intentioned, just with strong survival instincts.
