UPDATING OCCASIONALLY (FOR NOW)

303 – Lines In The Sand

One of the biggest limitations with non-cell, non-satellite walkie-talkies is that they work best in "line of sight", which is exactly the problem Suzie encountered back in Episode Four when there was a big honkin' hill between the Ranch and where Rosa left her bike -- which meant nobody could communicate about the arrival of the McCartys until it was too late. This time around Suzie plans to use Oscar as a living relay to pass any necessary messages back and forth. We'll see how that works out... CLINT: Meanwhile on the back end, we've got this page and another story page planned for the 10th and then we are out of town on family vacation for the next two weeks (my parents are celebrating their 50th Anniversary!), so expect more filler on the 17th and 24th. Apologies for the piecemeal nature of things recently but it was either this or just completely shut down until September, and we figured the best thing to do was publish what we could while keeping you loyal (or just plain bored) folks staying with us through the Summertime as informed as possible.

  1. There’s no small profits, right? Okay, I personally wouldn’t risk my neck with neighboors like the Huachucas and just stay home but, hey, I’m not tv star material 😛
