UPDATING OCCASIONALLY (FOR NOW)

371 – The Small Picture (END OF EPISODE 15)

We ended our first arc with multiple big screens. We end this second with a single tiny photograph. Which, of course, we've seen on previous occasions, but never as fully as now. Sometimes it's not the size of the picture that's important so much as what it shows. And what, admittedly, it still hides... But that's something to ponder for arc number 3! Join us next Wednesday to see Dawn's cover design for Issue 15, after which will be our appearance at WonderCon 2018 (Small Press SP-95!) and at least one sketch week of downtime afterwards before we fire up the story engines again. We'll keep you folks posted on a resume date as soon as we decide on one. In the meantime, hope you've enjoyed the ride, and gotten the answers to some of your long-standing questions (even if some of those answers may have just led to further mysteries to ponder). Try not to fret overly, pardners... there's more to come!

  1. Oh, it’s personal, we just don’t know exactly why…yet. ?

  2. We know it is personal/a family mater now. The obvious idea would be that there is a 2nd Uncle that somehow blames Zane for the death of her Father.
Equally obvious is that it is something we do not know yet.

  3. This page also introduces a third player, someone suggesting a more direct threat to Suzie vs our puppeteer watching from the shadows.

  4. Hmmm…SteelRaven you make a good point. I was thinking that maybe the El Brujefe was Suzie’s long-lost sister, but I don’t think she would be calling Mr Clearstream on the phone.

  5. Alexander Leaking Pen Hollins

    ……

DAMNIT! you got me. I was not expecting that trope this late in the game. Fingernails being bitten here.

  6. Happy to see all the speculation! But go easy on the fingernails, folks 😀

  7. @ConcordBob: El Brujefe is a pawn in this. She ranks even below the McCarthys. She was manipulated into these actions by the cloaked drone, while being a bit high.

  8. Could we be looking at a Scarlet Pimpernel style motivation? She refused to date him?
